Gather

"Building Bridges Out of Poverty"

This week in worship we will hear of a new and creative way to be the church for the poor in our community. Special speaker, Art Piancone will talk about "Building Bridges Out of Poverty", a nationwide initiative that provides structures, ideas, and concrete tools a community needs to counter poverty in the community. We will hear how this effort is working and be invited to consider hosting one here in our community as an effort among the United Methodist Cluster of Churches in our area. Join us this Sunday as we consider how we can be the church for Christ in transforming the world one person at a time.
